Leigh Ann & Vince – Just because!

The thing I think I love the most about photography’s role in my life is all the random connections it brings. I’ll get facebook messaged by the most random people saying, “I saw your pictures on so and so’s site!” I love that I gain tiny glimpses here and there into the lives of so many people I would have never met otherwise.

Leigh Ann and Vince Wyatt are good friends of the Talleys, who are some of my family’s closest friends. I shot their daughter Lauren’s wedding, I’m doing their other daughter Kendra’s wedding this May, and I’ve gone to Venezuela on e3 campaigns with Mike. Leigh Ann and Vince have been married for over two years and wanted some updated pictures of themselves. We battled enormous wind gusts and rush hour traffic as we explored the areas around their Deep Ellum apartment building. After this shoot, I think I’ve decided couple shoots may just be my favorite. The whole session was full of laughter and fun and just plain ol’ love! Documenting two people who love each other is probably the easiest and most rewarding thing a photographer can do. I barely directed them at all. He’d whisper something in her ear, she’d bust out laughing, and click! That was easy. :]

Their apartment is literally right next to the Dart tracks with the Dallas skyline in the background. That is my DREAM!
